About the G306MS10
Terminal G306MS10 is one of the 5.7" operator interface terminals with a sunlight-readable QVGA display and touchscreen operating at 12 VDC rather than the standard 24 VDC. During the operation of the G306MS10 model, a power supply voltage of twelve VDC is required with the typical power being six Watts. It should be noted that the standard power supports Ethernet communications, the display being at full brightness, RS232/485 communications, and the CompactFlash card being installed. The CompactFlash card on this module is used for transferring data through the USB port on this model.
Three LEDs are used to help indicate how the G306MS10 model is functioning. The three LEDs are green, yellow, and red, with green being on the bottom, yellow in the middle, and red on the top labeled as power. There are only two LED functions for the model for the green LED which are steady or flashing, if steady it indicates that the configuration is valid and loaded and there are no alarms present, whereas if the LED is flashing a tag is potentially in an alarm state. For the remaining LED, functions refer to the G306M Product Manual on page six.
There are also colors associated with the Ethernet communications to ensure that they are functioning properly. There are only two LEDs with one of them being bi-colored. The bi-color LED is located in the upper left corner of the Ethernet connector and is amber or green, if the LED is amber it indicates that the communication is 100 Base-TX whereas green indicates that the communication is 10 Base-T. The remaining LED in the upper right corner is yellow and can flash or be solid, a flashing LED indicates that data is being transferred whereas a solid LED indicates that a link is being established or has already been established.
