About the GMP1RM00

The Red Lion GMP1RM00 module is a Full PID Control module. This module only has a single PID loop and three input types. The input types for this module are relays. This module is a GMP1 module which indicates that it does have the possibility to use a DC analog output. If the DC analog output has been chosen to be used with this module it will operate on ten volts or twenty milliamperes. The output will be used for re-transmission or control purposes. 

This module is equipped with a heater current monitor analog output option. The heater current monitor is used to indicate the possibility of heater circuit failure or heater degradation. The input will connect to a transformer that has an output of one hundred milliamperes of alternating current to guarantee the proper heater current is going to be present when the control output is on and that little to no current will be present when the output is off. 

Another key feature of the GMP1RM00 module is that it has the ability to perform practically any combination of linear control or time-proportional controls. The two controls will be used for heat/cool, cool, or heat applications. This module can be used with a variety of different discrete outputs, these outputs include open drain MOSFETs and relays.
