About the GMRTD600

Graphite Analog Input Module GMRTD600 is part of the Graphite HMI Expansion Series produced by Red Lion. This control is a sixteen-bit analog module that has six single-ended channels as well as six RTD inputs. The RTD inputs operate on several different Ohm types, the types are as follows, 672, 385, 392, and 428. There are no control outputs or analog outputs on the module. The other Graphite Analog Input Modules and this module can connect together through USBs to other Graphite host devices. The GMRTD600 module is configured with Windows-compatible Crimson software. 

There are two manuals that can be used when operating the GMRTD600 model, one is the Graphite HMI Brochure which details what type of module this device is; the second manual is the GM8-J Bulletin. Specifications for this module are found on the upper portion of page three. Some specifications include the effective resolution, the wire type, the excitation, and more. The excitation for the GMRTD600 device is 150 µA. The effective resolution for this module is labeled as a full sixteen-bit. 

One feature of the GMRTD600 device is that once it has been programmed and is online it has the ability to be controlled/operated without the Graphite host devices as long as the model still has power. Please note that it is vital when replacing or installing any modules that power is removed from the host device that this device is connected to.
