About the 9900-433
The control 9900-433 from Woodard’s 2301A Load Sharing and Speed Control series is a 110 V reverse-acting control. This control can be used in a droop or isochronous mode. The droop mode of the control unit is best used with functions of speed control and single-engines. The isochronous mode of the control unit is best used with continual engine speed which is used with more than two engines controlled by Woodwards’s control systems. When the control is in droop mode the circuit-breaker of the auxiliary contact is open; when single engines are isochronous turn the droop potentiometer fully counterclockwise.
If the gain of the model must be adjusted, note that it may cause temporary changes in the speed of the control which can be diminished by turning the gain potentiometer gradually. If after adjusting the load gain and droop the control is exceptionally sensitive to changes, complete the phase correction procedure on the control.
When using the control of the engine speed and the idle speed coordinate, use the low idle speed potentiometer and make sure that it is in a range above the minimal fuel position of the engine fuel rack. AX Control Inc is equipped to buy, resell and reconstruct this model. In order to prevent damage to the model make sure that when the battery or other power device is not connected to the control neither is the battery.
