About the 9905-021
Offered at AX Control inc the Woodward 2301A series 9905-021 control is a reverse-acting, low-voltage model, with an actuator current of 0-200 mA. This model is also an individual actuator model and is not offered with a deceleration ramp. When connecting this unit to a power reservoir of 20-40 Vdc terminals fifteen and sixteen are used, the negative lead is connected to terminal fifteen and the positive lead is connected to terminal sixteen.
Load sharing lines are connected to terminals ten and eleven, load signal leads are connected to terminals eleven and twelve. The eleventh terminal is shared between the load sharing and load signal functions, the eleventh terminal is the negative terminal connector while terminals ten and twelve are the positive connectors. The load sharing input on this model is designated at 0-6 Vdc.
When connecting the shielded wiring the outer insulation found on the shield needs to be removed from both ends, this uncovers the coiled shield; the shield should never be cut.
Before using the control it is advised to visually inspect the model, make sure to check that screws are intact and there are no broken or cracked terminals and check all dials to ensure that none are broken or damaged in any way as this could hinder the performance of the unit. If any damage is found on the control contact AX Control to inquire if the control can be repaired.
When mounting the control be sure to protect the control from any water exposure to water or condensation, if the control attains any moisture it could cause the model to malfunction and prevent the model from performing.
