About the 9905-024
At AX Control we offer Woodward INCs Load Sharing and Speed Controls 2301A series. The 9905-024 model is a forward-acting, low-voltage model with a dual actuator and contains a 0-200 actuator current. Before starting the control if looking at the low idle speed set the potentiometer to the maximum position, which is fully clockwise, and be extremely cautious so as to not over-torque the pot. Once the actuator has been connected ensure that it is connected to terminals twenty and twenty-one.
After the start-up of the control if you desire to change the actuator voltage if it is already at the maximum, turn the rated speed counterclockwise until the voltage begins to move to the minimum. If there is a need to adjust the load gain if for any reason the full load is not optional decrease the load gain comparatively to the load. If the load signal voltage is less than three in some cases it may be necessary to reduce the voltage in the system due to the possibility of poor system dynamics.
If for any reason while operating the prime mover and it will not stabilize at the rated no-load speed and control is erratic check the speed setting controls; after adjustment of the outside speed trim, check the potentiometer for erratic behavior and make sure to turn the power off if the speed potentiometer located internally is at fault replace the control.
In case of emergency, the prime mover should be implemented with an emergency overspeed shutdown device to limit personal injury and possible property damage.
