About the 9905-026
Introduction
The Woodward 9905-026 is a low-voltage, forward-acting member of the 2301A series of load sharing and speed controls. This particular model requires a power supply of 20-40VDC and consumes 15W or less of power. This model uses a single actuator with a current range of 0-20mA. Since this is a forward-acting model, the actuator will be driven to empty fuel in the event that full loss of voltage is detected.
Features of the 9905-026
The 9905-026 can be operated in isochronous mode or droop mode in order to accommodate a wide variety of prime mover and bus configurations. This model does not come with a deceleration ramp. The 9905-026 requires some other equipment to set it up as a fully-functioning 2301A series system. In addition to the control itself, operators need a 20-40VDC power source, a proportional actuator for positioning the fuel-metering device, and load-measuring current and potential transformers.
Technical Specifications
The 9905-026 has a sheet metal chassis with a gloss powder finish. This unit is made in compliance with North American CSA standards for Ordinary Locations. It has a tolerance of 4Gs (5-500Hz) of vibration and 60 Gs of shock. The 9905-026 has a load gain maximum of 6VDC at a 5A CT current. The actuator can compensate with time constant compatibility of 0-500ms.
