About the 9905-037
Intro
The 9905-037 is a reverse-acting, high-voltage model of 2301A series load sharing and speed control by Woodward. This model uses a single actuator with an actuator current signal of 0-20mA. This output signal is related to how much fuel is required to reach the desired speed/load of your system. As a high-voltage model, this unit uses a power supply of 88-132VAC or 90-150VDC.
Operational Features
The 9905-037 has the capacity to work in 4 speed ranges. These ranges are 500-1500Hz, 1000-3000Hz, 2000-6000Hz, 4000-12000Hz. The default range is set to 2000-6000Hz, so you will need to change this if your system will require a different speed range. This unit can work in either droop or isochronous mode. The ramp time from idle to rated speed can be adjusted between 0 and 10 seconds.
Additional Information
The 9905-037 has several helpful adjustable features. For example, aspects such as actuator compensation, low idle speed, droop, load gain, and more may be adjusted to better fit your system's needs. The 9905-037 has a magnetic pickup unit to help sense the speed of the system. This pickup has an input of 1VAC minimum and 30VAC maximum. The speed trim of this unit may be adjusted between 0 and 10%.
