About the 9905-136
Using shielding wiring requires the shield to undergo special accommodation so the shield can be connected to the control; the outer insulation of the shield must be removed from both ends take extreme caution to not cut the braided shield, use a pointed edge tool, and begin to cautiously spread the strands of the shield, once the strands have been spread carefully pull the inductors from the shield as the shield is braided carefully twist to be sure that the shield does not fray, remove at least a fourth of an inch of insulation from the inner conductor, once these steps have been taken connect the wiring and shield to the proper terminals.
Take caution when operating the control and prime mover together as errors could occur, one of the errors that can occur is overspeeding of the prime mover, if this occurs check the magnetic pickup that has been attached to the control as well as the 9905-136 control itself. While checking the magnetic pickup if you notice that the output voltage on the magnetic pickup is at speeds above the idle of at least 1.0 Vrms if the magnetic pickup has failed and the override failed speed signal circuit has deactivated then the 9905-136 will go into maximum fuel.
