Control model 9905-138 from the Woodward 2301A series is a Load Sharing and Speed control available in high voltage or low voltage models. The 9905-138 control leaves an output of 20-160 mA control signal output; while powering your model it is key that you are using the correct amount of power in correspondence to the model; if using a low-voltage model the power supply required is 20-40 Vdc for proper function. When using the control continuously monitor the rpm of the tail shaft and engine, while the RPMs are typically equal to each other if the gears being used begin to sense speed are the same there may have been a minor malfunction that needs to be resolved.
When installing the control to the engine chosen be sure that you have considered the following; location, power requirements, and environmental factors, if these are not taken into consideration and the control is not put in a place that ensures that these factors will not affect the control it can hinder the performance of said control and cause it to not function as needed.
