About the 9905-149
Woodward INCs 2301A Load Sharing and Speed control model 9905-149 is housed in a sheet-metal frame and is made up of a single circuit board. The model is forward-acting, supplied with a range of 88-131 Vac or 90-150 Vdc, it also runs at a speed set input of 1-5 Vdc. The Vac and Vdc range indicates that the control unit is a high-voltage model. The high-voltage model allows for terminal zero to be used as an alternative to terminal sixteen when the connection of the override failed-speed signal circuit is made. All terminal blocks for wiring the control to the prime mover are located at the lower front portion of the control.
As the load-sharing line relay of the control is located within the control a relay is not needed between the control and load-sharing line bus. Be sure that when connecting the load-sharing lines to the terminal using shielded cables. When the controls within the system are all 2301A the shields can be connected simultaneously through the controls.
Note that terminal sixteen on high voltage models can be used as either the ac input terminal on ac supplies or the positive dc connecting point on dc supplies.
Control unit 9905-149 needs to be handled with extreme caution around other static-sensitive energy sources, if the unit comes into contact with any other static-sensitive devices then it can cause damage to the components of the control unit.
