Control unit 9905-448 is a forward-acting control, operating as a high-voltage unit. This unit is available for purchase from AX Control INC where we also buy, repair, and refurbish this control for any of your needs. As this unit is considered high voltage the typical power supply needed sits at 90-150 Vdc or 88-132 Vac, the power nominal on this control has a minimum of 15 W. The control can also be used as an individual or dual actuator.
When connecting the potential transformers of the device to the control they should be connected as follows; phase A connects to terminal one on the control, phase B connects to terminal two on the control, and finally, phase C connects to terminal three, the transformer subsidiary line-to-line voltage must sit in the range of 90-240 Vrms. To connect current transformers an open delta connection can be used as an alternative method.
Once you have received your control and you have decided that you are using an elective remote speed trim potentiometer it must be connected using shielded wire, if an elective speed trim potentiometer is not being used then a jumper is needed to connect it to terminals twenty-three and twenty-four. Take note that when using the elective speed trim potentiometer it is wise to you a potentiometer that has a multi-turn for improved and exceptional functionality.
