The 9907-021 is a Load Sharing and Speed Control device, made by Woodward INC. It was made to be adaptable in adjusting its start fuel, regulating the maximum and minimum fuel settings when the engine is starting. This in turn helps reduce the wear and tear of the engine as well as reduces the pollution output. Each one of these units are built with the idea in mind to withstand and protect against certain elements that can be considered harmful to such machinery. Such elements include but are not limited to: humidity, dust, harsh vibrations, electromagnetic interference, and radio frequencies.

The 9907-021 was built and designed to handle two specific speed loads, such loads being the Isochronous and Droop. Isochronous is meant to deal with Single- prime-mover operation while the Droop mode is more so meant to deal with Single-prime-mover operation on an infinite bus. Here now contains a list of the required hardware needed for the 9907-021: A 2301A electric control, An external 20-40 VDC power source, 90-150 Vdc or 88-132 Vac for high voltage models, and finally a proportional actuator.
