9906-130 is a UL, cUL listed digital control. This is a Woodward control in the 723 series. Woodward 723 digital controls are designed for a range of applications and offer some configurations with the I/Os, communication ports, compatible accessories, etc.
The user-configurable communication ports offer a few options for monitoring and control. Two separate serial interfaces support RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 communications. The ports also feature standard ASCII character handling, which allows the control to be adjusted using a Woodward Hand Held Programmer or other standard ASCII character computer terminal with an RS-422 serial port. Woodward LONTalk is another option available with this 723 control.
As is standard on Woodward 723 digital controls, model 9906-130 has a self-diagnostics feature. Diagnostic tests are integrated into the system to seamlessly determine the control integrity. Included in the self-diagnostic tests are baseline power supply, memories, and processor.
Another standard feature is the ability to use analog or digital speed inputs. MPUs and proximity switches are both supported by this control’s two-speed signal inputs. Woodward 723 model 9906-130 is in a sheet metal chassis that can handle temperatures up to 70 °C (158 °F) and humidity up to 95% at +20 to +55 °C (+68 to +131 °F).
