About the 9906-700

Woodward digital control model 9906-700 is in the company’s 723PLUS series. This 723PLUS Digital Control does not contain software, it is only the hardware. Model 9906-700 is a low-voltage model with a standard 18-40 Vdc (24 or 32 Vdc nominal) external power supply. This model is a little different than other low-voltage models, as it includes modified actuator filtering. A low-voltage model without this feature is also available (part 9906-619), as is a high-voltage model (9906-620).

The 723PLUS 9906-700 control has a metal chassis that encases the device’s single-printed circuit board. Three 9-pin subminiature D connectors and three terminal strips provide connections. This hardware can handle temperatures between -40 and +70 °C during operation. Environment requirements of a mounting location for this Woodward control can be found in 723PLUS Hardware Manual 02877. This manual also contains compliance information for this device, including CSA certification and various marine listings.

Model 9906-700 has standard 723PLUS features that make it suitable for a range of applications, including compatibility with accessories for load-sharing applications. There are two LON channels for Woodward LONTalk or LinkNet I/O nodes.
