About the 9907-033
Woodward Digital Speed Control 9907-033 is a unit in the company’s 723 series. The 9907-033 is a DSLC-compatible model offering a more comprehensive range of load control and monitoring. This control is a low-voltage model (18 to 40 Vdc) with a torsional filter. A high-voltage model is also available (9907-034), as are high- and low-voltage versions without the torsional filter (9907-032, 9907-031). All four are available through AX Control.
This 723 speed and load control unit has a self-diagnostic feature to monitor control integrity. The integrated diagnostic tests include monitoring the processor, memories, and baseline power supply. The 9907-033 also stores all set points in permanent memory, ensuring data is retained without relying on external power sources.
Woodward part 9907-033 has analog and discrete I/Os, two-speed signal inputs (MPU or proximity switch compatible), relay contact outputs, and a load-sharing input. Woodward 723 Product Manual 02784 has additional information on the configurable I/Os of this speed control along with the other manuals found in our "Manuals" Tab.
Parameters and functions can be monitored via two LON channels, one for the DSLC and one for Woodward LinkNet input/output nodes. This control can also interface with an HMI or other Modbus master device via the unit’s two serial channels. The Woodward Hand Held Programmer or other standard ASCII character computer terminal with an RS-422 serial port can be used to adjust and monitor the control.
