About the 9907-248
There are high- and low-voltage versions of the Woodward 828 Digital Control. Part 9907-248 is the high-voltage model. It has an external power supply with 40 W nominal power consumption at 90–150 Vdc (125 Vdc nominal). For the low-voltage version, see model 9907-247. Aside from the power supply differences, the two models are identical.
The 9907-248 digital control is customizable to suit specialized functions in an engine, process, plant, and marine applications, including generator load management. Much of this customization is done with the use of optional accessories, such as a Digital Synchronizer and Load Control (DSLC), that are used to expand the functions of the 828 control. This is especially true with load-sharing functions but also applies to additional I/O control functions through the use of optional LinkNet nodes.
Woodward 828 control model 9907-248 has many adjustable set points. These configurable set points are managed via Watch Window PC software or a handheld programmer. 828 Digital Control Hardware Manual 02875 has more info on both options. When set points are saved, they are stored in the 9907-248’s permanent memory.
