The 9905-796 model of the Woodward DSLC units is one of the more obsolete units. It is a reduced upgrade model, meaning that it is not equipped with any power factor control capabilities or process control functions.

This model’s voltage for the sensing inputs requires a minimum of 65 volts of alternating current, to a maximum intake of 150 V/AC. The nominal amount for this control device is 120 V/AC. The terminals it utilizes are terminals 3 - 5, 6 - 8, 8 - 10, and 10 - 6.

The 9905-796 unit has a PT Configuration that is given an open delta setup. This affects the switchgear configuration (from units designed in either the US or Canada), made up of the two PTs between A-B and C-B phases. The B phase is grounded by the switchgear.

The basic Woodward environmental specifications included in this unit’s design gives it an operational temperature range of -40 to 70 degrees C (-40 - 158 F), and a storage range of -55 to 105 degrees C (-67 - 221 F).
