Control model 8440-3003 is a part of the easYgen-100 series by Woodward INC. This control model is essentially all-in-one when it comes to needing a Genset controller. One of the key features of the control is the exclusive relays for the breaker and engine interfaces. Not only does the control feature the exclusive relays it also features remote and manual start/stops in stand-by operations as well as rental power operations. 

The 8440-3003 model is available in easYgen-400, easYgen-600, and easYgen-800 models for whatever your needs may be when it comes to this specific control. When it comes to the number of terminals on the 8440-3003 control it depends on the easYgen model that you are using, the easYgen-400 model is equipped with thirty-six terminals, the easYgen-600 model is equipped with forty-four terminals and the easYgen-800 model is equipped with sixty-two terminals, each terminal has a specific usage and cables should never be incorrectly connected to the terminals. 

For engine protection of all forms of the control, the controls are each equipped with a crank disconnect and speed signal. Each easYgen model comes with an event recorder but the easYgen-400 and easYgen-600 can only hold up to fifty events compared to the easYgen-800 which can hold ninety-nine internally, but as the easYgen-800 model contains an SD card extended data can be held to also hold events that have occurred during the operation of the control.
