About the EasyGen-600
The easYgen-600 is a Genset start/stop control module manufactured by Woodward. This product is part of Woodward’s easYgen-100 series of controllers, which offer manual and remote start/stop applications for single generator units, which are typically used for prime power applications or in isolated standby situations. The easYgen-600 has the ability to open and close circuit breakers and also has the logic controls to start, stop, control, and protect the generator set.
The easYgen-600 is built with dedicated heavy-duty relays specifically designed for its engine and breaker interface. The unit has an engine ECU interface to electronic engines and offers event logging and an event-triggered data log. The unit can be configured from its front panel or from a remote computer. It has three-phase true RMS power sensing, a maintenance scheduler with flexible timers, and three switchable parameter sets of AC system winding
The easYgen-600 has a front panel that can be password protected; the unit can also be configured from this point. The panel offers a custom boot-up logo and adjustable screen display times. The easYgen-600 has a front LCD screen that measures 132 by 64. It is also equipped with USB connections. The unit has five digital input ports, six output ports, and three sensors. The easYgen-600 model can be measured by a generator current of three times true r.m.s.
