About the 8440-2255
From the easYgen-100 series, the 8440-2255 model is a Genset controller, which is manufactured by Woodward INC and is available from AX Control INC’s new, surplus, and refurbished secondhand inventory. When operating the control if your control enters critical mode, the critical mode will end before the mains recovery ends.
The emergency power operation of the control will continue and all shutdown alarms will become active again when the mains return to normal operation the units that had been in the process of transferring units the load will settle within the time from the generator supply back to the mains supply of the control.
When you are operating the control and the emergency mode of the control ends the MCB will release and if it is switched off the GCB will open and begin to cool down, the default settings will need to be in the automatic start option. When you are using your control ensure that the GCB close command on your control is longer than one hundred milliseconds.
A water pump can be connected to the busbar of the control, the GCB that is attached will need to close while the control is operating in critical mode. If during operation you are operating a computer and your computer has crashed while you are writing/reading the parameters of the LeoPC1 you should change the settings on the device, to change the settings of timeout after writing a command you should change it to any value other than zero, this mainly depends on the capacity that the computer can handle.
