About the EasyGen-1800
The easYgen-1800 is an AMF (Automatic Mains Failure) Controller manufactured by Woodward, Inc. Woodward, Inc (formerly The Woodward Governor Company,) is the world’s oldest, largest independent manufacturer and provider of control system components for industrial engines and turbines, mobile industrial equipment, and power generation. The easYgen-1800 is part of Woodward’s easYgen 1000 series of Power Management controls. This controller is designed to be used in prime power or stand-by applications to control a single generator set.
The easYgen-1800 has multiple standard features for ease of use. This includes a large liquid crystal color display, built-in Ethernet capabilities that allow remote user control, and an SD card slot to allow for data logging. The easYgen-1800 offers three-phase true RMS power sensing with multiple operation modes, including auto, stop, and manual. These are easily accessible via the unit’s front panel, its discrete inputs, or through remote interfaces. The unit is fully configurable by PC via connections made via USB, RS485, or Ethernet. Front panel configurations require a password.
The easYgen-1800 has an operating temperature of -25 to +70 degrees Celsius and 20 to 93% relative humidity. It has a net weight of .85 kg. Only properly trained technicians should install or maintain this product.
