Control model 8440-1855 is from Woodward’s easYgen-2000 series. The 8440-1855 control is used for managing status indicators, all of the information needed will be shown on the display screen on this control. 

The control is equipped with fifty-nine terminals which all have different uses, if using an MPU with your control it must be connected to terminals fifty-six and fifty-seven, the positive lead will be connected to terminal fifty-six and the negative lead will be connected to terminal fifty-seven, not connecting the leads properly will interfere with peak performance. 

The power supply is strictly connected to terminal fifty-three, terminal fifty-four is also used with the power supply but no direct power supply should be used. When connecting the power supply to terminal fifty-tree the power supply rating should be 8-40 Vdc. 

When installing the control make sure that you don’t drill holes into the plastic housing unit, if you do so you will not be able to use the clamp fasteners. While operating the control and you are measuring inputs of the three-phase, three-wire setting on the device be sure that the rated voltage on the control should read in the range of 50-130 V range or possibly the 131-480 V range depending on the control being used.
