About the 8440-2029

The control model labeled 8440-2029 is from Woodward INC’s easYgen-2000 series. This model and series are available at AX Control INC within our current surplus and refurbished pre-owned stock. This control has many uses and can be used with a landline modem and a GSM modem. 

You can establish a potential phone connection to the control using a landline modem, steady remote control is necessary when connecting a landline and easYgen-2000 control. If you are doing so, you should use a computer that has Windows XP or a Vista operating system downloaded. When using a landline modem a Phoenix modem is highly recommended to be used. 

If during usage of the control you can go back and examine the event history of the control, the screen on the control will display system events, and a date and time stamp will be located next to each entry; the entry will also have a symbol located next to it if a positive sign is located next to the event that means that the condition is still occurring if a negative sign is located next to the event the condition is no longer active. 

If you are using the control and monitoring the generator voltage the unit can only monitor the phase-neutral voltage or it can only monitor the phase-phase voltage.
