AX Control offers the Woodward INC easYgen-2000 series through our brand new surplus or refurbished secondhand inventory. The 8440-2096 is one of the controls available within the easYgen-2000 series. 

Using the control unit with discrete inputs note that they are electrically isolated which does not allow for the polarity of the connections to be positive or negative, the inputs absolutely have to use the same polarity, whether those be positive or negative signals due to common ground. 

When dealing with analog inputs of the device the 0-20 mA input, which will be the internal load should be read at 50 Omega. If using a single-pole sender the accuracy of the 0-500 Omega input will read </= 2.5% When dealing specifically with the outputs of the analog the versions will range to that of a positive/negative 10 Vdc, a positive/negative 20 mA, PWM. 

The housing of the control is plastic and therefore needs to be used cautiously, any cracks in the housing will cause performance problems and will cause the control to malfunction. The wiring on the housing should be screw-plug-terminals and will be a square millimeter of 2.5. 

To protect the housing of the control use a front foil or insulating surface to help keep the housing from developing potential issues.
