Model 8440-1816 is from the EasyGen 3000 series, the part is manufactured by Woodward inc and is sold by AX Control from a new surplus or reconditioned secondhand inventory. The model has four different application modes which are labeled as start/stop mode, open GCB, open/close GCB, and open/close GCB/MCB. Each mode differs in the way that they operate differently although each mode has some similar functions. For example, the open/close GCB application will start and stop the engine connected to the controller, and all modes on the controller can measure the parameters of the engine or generator that has been connected to your controller. 

Before the operation of your controller, you can set it up to be teased without or with the load. If you have decided to test your controller without load, make sure that the operational mode of your controller is set at automatic. To test without load your controller will perform an automatic stop segment and will typically remain on standby in automatic mode.

Your controller comes equipped with an import/export option that allows it to be used as an interchange point. Your controller is also extremely versatile and can be adapted to any application on your controller that you need it to be adapted to.
