Controller 8440-1922 is from the easYgen-3000 series, the easYgen series is produced by Woodward Inc. The 8440-1922 controller has an alternate name which is the easYgen-3200-1-P1, this controller is made up of plastic housing and has a large display screen used to give information on the application modes and what potential alarms have been activated on your controller, the display will also show measuring values, alarms, modes of operation and context-sensitive softkeys symbols. 

This unit could potentially cause highly dangerous voltages if there is a missing load. You should always be sure that before you disconnect your device that the current transformer has been short-circuited to ensure that dangerous voltages do not occur. 

The controller is offered with a potential cellular connection using a GSM modem, the modem provides a discrete input that can trigger a call if an alarm occurs, and the discrete input used to trigger an alarm can also trigger an SMS. Note that depending on the network provider that your controller and GSM modem are connected to, it is possible to send a fax message. 

The 8440-1922 control unit features engine control unit support, some of these ECUS are Cummins,  SISU EEM,  Deutz EMR2 and EMR3, Scania S6, Woodward EGS02, MTU ADEC ECU7/8, Volvo EMS2, and EDC4 and MAN MFR/EDC7.
