About the 8440-1925
The 8440-1925 controller is a genset controller and is specified as an easYgen-3200-5-P2 model. The easYgen-3200 modules of the controller set come with a wide LCD screen with twelve softkeys for easy configuration of the controller’s operating system/mode. The LCD screen on the easYgen-3200 model also has two sections, one which has operating mode information and the other has information on alarms that have been introduced to the controller system.
There are four groups of alarms designated within your controller, mains-related, system-related, engine-related, and generator-related alarms are all set within your controller. Within each alarm group, there are many alarms with different ideas and different functions as to what the alarm is about. For example, one of the alarms in the mains-related alarms series is alarm number 7.08, with an ID of 406, the function of this alarm is to indicate that the mains of the controller are performing at under frequency within a limit of one. When the display within your device reads true that means that the function of the alarm has been triggered, and when the alarm reads false it means that the alarm has been recognized.
There are also external discrete message input IDs that only come up on P2 models such as the 8440-1935 genset, their number and corresponding IDs are listed on page seven-hundred and forty-seven of the 37532G easYgen-3100/3200 P1/P2 manual.
