Part number 8440-1930 is an easYgen-300-5-P1 model, the P1 models do not have an LCD display, the only indicators on the P1 display are two LEDs. The two LED indicators focus on communications and the way that the controller is running. There are two colors that are indicated for both the communications and operations LED but with four different states, the two LED colors are green and red; the states are a non-illuminated LED, an illuminated red, an illuminated green, and a blinking red/green LED.

The P1 model is made from metal and must be installed within a cabinet. There is a difference between the easYgen-3100-5-P1 model and easYgen-3100-5-P2 models when it comes to the number of external discrete inputs and outputs via the CANopen, which is a communication protocol, the P1 model of the easYgen-3200 has sixteen discrete inputs and outputs while the P2 easYgen-3200 models have thirty-two discrete inputs and outputs. 

As there are no soft keys to configure the analog outputs so there are no options to manually configure the external analog inputs and outputs which if needed must be done with a connected remote controller. 

The 8440-1930 model can control up to thirty-two genset controllers and can be connected to be used with automatic sequencing. While there is no screen on the easYgen-3100 model the model can be connected to a remote control that can then receive alarms and texts.
