About the 8440-1931
The Woodward company developed the easYgen-3000 series. Within that series is the 8440-1931 unit. As such the 8440-1931 is part of the Genset controller series. This means that this unit is able to be connected to thirty-two different machines as well as able to control them. Additionally, there are also other functions of the 8440-1931. It is capable of load managing features that include: load sharing, peak shaving, and import and export control. Several other built-in features are built into the 8440-1931 such as its multi-lingual capabilities, and being programmable in fourteen different languages.
The 8440-1931 also has a built-in LC screen that allows easy access. There are also counters for engine starts as well as operating hours. In addition, this unit is equipped with a multi-level password protection system, to help ensure security. This machine was designed to be efficient with its import and export control interchangeable points.
