Easily control multiple connected gensets with the easYgen-3000 series model 8440-1993. This genset control unit was manufactured by Woodward. Part 8440-1993 is a 3200 model, which means it is in a plastic housing and has a built-in operation panel (3100 models are in a metal housing and have no display panel). The operation panel has a keypad and a 5.7” LCD.

This easYgen controller offers protection from a wide range of conditions, including generator and engine over-/under speed, engine excitation, unbalanced load or voltage, and speed/frequency mismatch to name a few. The 8440-1993 genset control also has several load management features, such as peak shaving, backup power generator, and import/export control.

Operations are monitored from the included operation panel. This unit has multi-lingual capabilities, with fourteen supported languages. Configuration of set points such as trip levels, alarm classes, speed, frequency, and more is done through this HMI. Direct access to configuration and control functions is managed using multi-level password protection.
