Part number 8440-2084 is manufactured by Woodward Incorporated and is from their EasyGen 3000 series. There is an alternate part number for the 8440-2084 model is easYgen-3400XT-P1, this model is specifically designed within a sheet metal frame, which is especially suited for back panel installations. Your controller features the ability to be fully connected to up to thirty-two generators and up to sixteen LS-5 circuit breaker controls, these can be used within one application. 

The 8440-2084 controller is equipped with alarms, customizable logic, and HMI screens. This controller is also equipped with slave or master control capability. While you are using your controller it is important that the proper cable cross sections are being diligently followed based on your local restrictions and standards. 

The easYgen-3400XT-P1 controller is equipped with a mixture of twelve interface connectors and terminals, some of which are an ethernet interface connector, a USB interface connector, as well as a power supply, discrete inputs, D+, and an MPU (magnetic pick-up) terminal.  

Please note that since your controller is housed in sheet metal it is not equipped with any softkeys or LCD screens that indicate the alarms, and help to configure the device so the 8440-2084 controller must be attached to a remote panel so the controller can be configured to the desired application mode as well as having alarm indications to ensure proper operation of the controller.
