About the EasyGen-3100-1-P1

The easYgen-3100-1-P1 is in the easYgen 3000 series manufactured by Woodward. Part 3100-1-P1 may alternately be referenced by the number 8440-1931 (this is the new number that replaces the old number, 8440-1818). This module has the capability to control up to 32 connected gensets, just like other easYgen-3000 models. As the part number indicates, this genset control has 1A CT inputs.

Most functions of 3100-1-P1 are identical to those of other easYgen-3000 models. This genset control measures such things as generator voltage, mains voltage, and engine voltage; and boasts an impressive list of control functions, from multiple operation modes (including manual) to load-dependent start/stop.

Protections ensured by easYgen-3000 genset controls are also extensive. An unbalanced generator load, a mismatch with engine speed/frequency, and mains phase shift issues are all conditions monitored for and protected against with the easYgen-3100-1-P1. The 3100-1-P1 HMI is functionally the same as other easYgen control units, but since this is a 3100 model there is no display built-in. Instead, the configuration is done via PC. There are two LED status indicator lights on the front of the unit.
