About the EasyGen-3100-5-P1

Generator, engine, and mains protection are ensured with the easYgen-3100-5-P1 genset controller. Because it is designed for the cabinet back mounting, easYgen-3100-5-P1 does not have a built-in display. The unit is configured remotely using Woodward’s ToolKit software. This model may be used in either single unit operation, or in multi-unit operation to control up to 32 connected gensets.

The easYgen-3100-5-P1 can be used with CAN, RS-232, and RS-485 interfaces. There are both discrete and analog I/Os on this model, the details of which can be found in Woodward easYgen Manual 37258P. As a Package 1 (P1) model, easYgen-3100-5-P1 does not have external analog inputs/outputs (CANopen). Many features of the easYgen-3100-5-P1 are standard in the Woodward series, such as true RMS voltage and current sensing, AMF detection, and proportional load sharing of the connected units. This model has a Class 1 accuracy rating. The data management functions of this controller make it easy to track battery voltage, engine speed, kWh, kvar, power, and more.

If needed, there is a Manual operating mode to allow for manual breaker control. Otherwise, there are Automatic, Stop, and test operating modes. easYgen-3100-5-P1 supports AMF and stand-by operations.
