The easYgen-3100-5-P2 genset controller can be used in multi-unit operations to control up to 32 gensets in a range of applications, such as peak shaving, AMF, and cogeneration. It has both Master and Slave control capabilities. easYgen-3100-5-P2 can be used with either simple or complex paralleling. It can also be used in single unit operations.

This Woodward genset controller is a Package 2 (P2) model and includes a few additional features not found in the P1 controllers. easYgen-3100-5-P2 offers engine cylinder temperature protection and has three PID controllers which are freely configurable. It also comes with external analog I/Os (via CANopen). There are sixteen external analog inputs and four external analog outputs on this controller.

In the easYgen 3000 series, 3100 models do not have a built-in display. These units are in sheet metal housing and are designed for the cabinet back mounting. Configuration and control are done via Woodward’s ToolKit software. As indicated by the part number, this controller is the 3100 P2 version with 5A CT inputs. The easYgen-3100-5-P2 has a 12/24 VDC (8 to 40 VDC) power supply. Operating temperatures must be kept between -20 to 70 °C ( -4 to 158 °F), though a temperature range of -30 to 80 °C ( -22 to 176 °F) can be tolerated for storage.
