About the EasyGen-3400XT-P1

This generator set controller can be used in single or multi-unit complex breaker applications. In multi-unit applications, up to 32 gensets can be connected. This is a Package 1 (P1) easYgen model, and therefore it does include external analog I/Os (CANopen). P2 models do have those specific I/Os.

The easYgen-3400XT-P1 controller has an extensive set of programmable settings for engine, generator, and mains protections. A few of the protections ensured by this Woodward genset control unit include

• Engine overspeed / underspeed
• Generator load imbalance
• Engine speed/frequency mismatch
• Phase shift / rotation field issues

easYgen-3400XT-P1 can be managed remotely via PC (using Woodward’s ToolKit software). It is also pre-configured for connection with a Woodward Remote Display (RP-3000). A comprehensive overview of the configurable parameters can be found in Woodward easYgen-3000 Manual 37528G.

For safe and optimal performance, easYgen model 3400XT-P1 should be installed in a location where a temperature range of -20 to 70 °C (-4 to 158 °F) will be maintained during operation. This range can increase to -30 to 80 °C (-22 to 176 °F) for storage. The 3400 models in the easYgen-3000 series are intended for cabinet back mounting and are enclosed in sheet metal housing (IP20).
