About the EasyGen-3500XT-P1-K51

Part of the easYgen-3000 genset control series by Woodward, model easYgen-3500XT-P1-K51 is a controller dedicated to interaction with the Generator Group Controller GC3400XT (GC). The K51 option models are the only easYgen-3000 controllers capable of working together with the Group Controller GC3400XT (GC). Because this unit has special functions specifically for this dedication interaction, Woodward easYgen Manual 37900A should be reviewed before installation and operation of this unit. Additional documentation that should be reviewed is listed in the easYgen K51 option manual.

This genset controller can be configured to work as a standard easYgen controller, the LDSS feature being the only exception. The easYgen-3500XT-P1-K51 controller model has a built-in operator interface, which includes a color LCD and tactile buttons. This HMI is multi-level password protected and has multilingual capabilities. The HMI of the K51 models provides different screens for viewing easYgen and Group Controller diagnostics. CAN, Ethernet A, or redundant CAN/Ethernet A are the load share interfaces provided in Group Controller mode.

When easYgen-3500XT-P1-K51 is run with a Group Controller, up to 32 units can be connected. This number includes the Group Controller, which is fixed on device number 32 in the “Device Number” parameter range.
