About the 8406-121
One of Woodward’s EGCP-2 microprocessor-based complete generator control and engine management packages, model 8406-121 is used to automate and protect gas or diesel engine-based generator sets.

The 8406-121 has an input voltage rating of 150–300 Vac PT Input, 9–32 Vdc, and an operating temperature rating of –20 to +70 °C. The storage temp rating is –40 to +105 °C. This unit measures 282 x 358 x 69 mm, which includes a front panel with a keypad and two backlit LCD display screens.
The two screens display operating information, status information, and tuning set points. The backlight remains lit while the engine speed is above 50 rpm. When the engine is not running, the backlight will turn off after 5 minutes of non-use. It will also turn off in the event of a drop in supply voltage to conserve power. Next to the display screens is a red LED, used to indicate alarm conditions and shutdown conditions.
