Model 8290-133 was manufactured by Woodward, and belongs to the Electrically Powered Governor series. This product is an actuator driver that can be used as part of a full EPG system. These systems and this device are designed to work on prime movers without the need for a hydraulic oil supply or mechanical drive.

Product 8290-133 is compliant with EU Directive, just like the other products belonging to this Woodward series. A cast aluminum design makes it resistant to heat and long-lasting. It has been discontinued, but can be found with AX Control.

Specifications for model 8290-133 include;

• 10 A Slow-Blow Fuse.
• 8 fitted ring terminals.
• Compatible with 12 AWG and 14 AWG wire.
• Maximum 12 AWG length of 22 feet and maximum 14 AWG length of 8 feet.
• Temperature range of -40 to 167 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Operates with 4024 model.
• Minimum magnetic input of 1.5 VRMS.

When creating a full EPG system, an actuator, speed control device, and magnetic pickup must be used together. The use of speed trim and a ramp generator is optional. AX Control is able to buy and sell, in addition to repair, product 8290-133. Any repairs that come from AX Control are also given a warranty good for three years.
