About the 8271-923
The Generator Loading Control (GLC) unit is designed for the basic function of controlling and adjusting the electrical load that the generator is attached to. This unit has assumed commercial use for the generator set.
The standard operating method is done one of two ways. If the 8271-923 is utilizing an isolated power system, then one Generator Loading Control unit can be used with each load sharing and speed control function. Second, if the 8271-923 is connected to the paralleling line of the available load sharing and speed control then it can sense a voltage representing the generator’s load. In both applications, the Generator Loading Control can be used for the soft loading and unloading of generators.
If a local power system that is paralleled to an infinite bus is utilized, then the 8271-923 can operate up to 15 load sharing and speed controls from other series. The 8271-923 is covered by our comprehensive, automatic warranty immediately upon purchase.
