About the 9907-173
This unit belongs as a part of the Woodward Inc Load Sharing units. This unit is designated as the 9907-173 model of isochronous and droop load sharing unit. These units were developed and produced to be attached and installed onto Caterpillar model engines, equipped with their similarly produced digital speed components. These engines process a Pulse-Width Modulated input. When a Woodward Load Sharing module is attached to it, this allows the integration of other Woodward-produced parts as well. It also divides the load sharing between the Caterpillar engines and speed control module, and the Woodward electronic controls.
The power supply intake that this module requires ranges between the minimum intake of 18 to 32 V/DC, or alternatively, 5 Watts. It is protected from reverse voltage up to -32 V/DC, as well as under voltage and overvoltage up to 80 V/DC. There are both PT and CT three-phase inputs. The PT inputs require 100 to 240 V/AC line to line, while the CT inputs need 3 to 7 A Rms at full load. It should be noted that this device is meant to only be in service with the incorporation of an engine prime mover system that meets the requirements of the stated Directive as well as the CE mark.
AX Control INC can provide services to this machine and others like it such as: Buying, Selling, Repairing, and Reselling.
