About the 5466-1046
The 5466-1046 module was produced by Woodward Inc as part of their MicroNet Digital Controller series, which was designed as a MicroNet Plus Cyber CPU5200 unit. As a MicroNet Plus Cyber CPU5200 model, this board can be used to load Control software, which is also known as GAP software. This module is also equipped with many different LEDs on the front panel, some of these LEDs are as follows, standby, watchdog, link, run, and syscon. The purpose of the watchdog LED is to indicate when the Health monitor fault has been tripped, if tripped the LED will be red.
Depending on the redundancy mode that the 5466-1046 module is used in there will be either one or two CPU units, typically a redundancy mode will indicate the need for two CPU units. No matter if one of two CPU units is installed they will reset if a +24 V remote reset signal is received. The signals will be routed to an opto-isolated input to the appropriate CPU that requires a reset. Please note that if you are resetting the CPU it will set off the watchdog LED as it creates a HealthFault.
Model 5466-1046 cannot be used with an RTN module as there are no available RTN ports. The RTN module requires an expansion chassis if there are no ports to allow for the expansion the RTN module could potentially malfunction if connected to the CPU5200 unit.
