About the 5466-1141
Unit 5466-1141 is a CPU5200SA (Secured Application) module that was produced as part of the MicroNet Digital Controllers. The unit can be used in simplex or redundant or I/o modules, please note that if the controller is being used in a redundant system two CPU modules are required for proper function. The two CPUs will run the same application and will receive power from the same pins on the VME backplane and as it has access to the different I/O modules can be used over the same VME bus. The location of the two required CPUs will be in the A1 and A8/A14 slots, these slots are the first and last slots of the respective chassis.
According to the table in the 26166V2 manual that lists the units that are part of the MicroNet series the 5466-1141 module is labeled as a newer status module. This module will be used in the MicroNet Plus chassis, whether the system configuration is in a simplex configuration, full redundancy or partial redundancy configuration this unit will be configured in the main rack of the MicroNet Plus chassis.
The 5466-1141 model can be used in either diesel/gas engine turbine or hydro/steam/gas turbine applications. This unit also requires the use of Woodward’s Graphical Application Program (GAP) for the proper operation of the module. There is a twenty-second window that will run the two CPUs after they have both been powered up. The first CPU to run will remove the watchdog LED and become the syscon. Please note that there is a diagnostic test that can be performed on the device that will switch the syscon application between the first and second CPUs three times before it proceeds.
