About the 5466-1247
Woodward MicroNet module 5466-1247 is a TMR5200 CPU that can only be used in Triple Modular Redundant or MicroNet Plus modules as there is not an active CAN on the board. It is vital to note that there are Kernel Power Supply modules that can be used with this unit but they must be matched properly, the Kernel PS model used with this unit is the 5466-1049 module. Some of the features of this unit are the 128 Mbytes of DDR RAM one service port, two CAN ports, one serial port, a Real-Time Network port, and a Real-Time Network clock.
When the 5466-1049 module is installed in the main chassis this unit absolutely cannot be used with just one CPU, multiple CPUs are required for proper operation. The TMR5200 CPU was also designed to be used for 3-2-0 operation. On the front face-plate, there are a number of LEDs, these LEDs are listed as follows:
-
LINK
-
TX/RX
-
CAN #1 and #2
-
WATCHDOG
-
FAULT
-
RUN
-
STANDBY
-
SYSCON
-
IOLOCK
-
LVCC
The above LEDs each have different functions, the description of the FAULT LED is to actively flash red when a fault code is necessary and detected. The LEDs are also grouped together SYSCON, STANDBY, LVCC, IOLOCK, FAULT, and WDOG LEDs are all grouped together, the last four will be red will the top two, the SYSCON will be green and the STANDBY will be yellow.
One key feature of this module is that it can be removed while power is live when being used inserted and removed from the MicroNet Plus or TMR chassis.
