About the 8235-198
The 8235-198 model is used in applications with gaseous or diesel-fueled reciprocating engines. This model can be used with a wide array of industrial applications that includes mechanical compressors and pumps. The model was specifically developed to replace any of the traditional throttle valves which means that this model does not require any type of link between the actuator and the valve. The difference in sixes of the valves allows for a wide variety of engine connections.
The 8235-198 PISC Throttle Body was designed to create an individual integrated speed control/actuator model eliminating the need for multiple links to actuators and speed control devices. The best manuals to use when operating this model are the 26265 ProAct Actuator with Integrated Speed Control and Throttle Body (PISC ITB) and P-Series Position Controller and the 25182 Energy Controls Production Information Guide.
