About the 8235-366

The 8235-366 model was produced by Woodward Inc out of Fort Collins, Colorado as part of the ProAct and ProAct Plus Actuator and Drivers. This model is a P-Series II ITB model. This model allows for a nominal travel rotation of seventy-five degrees. This model was designed to have a nominal piping size valve of 120. When determining what valve size is needed there is a specific equation needed, this equation can be found at the top of page two in the 26265 manual from Woodward. Alongside the piping size, there is a specific flow coefficient needed as well, this information can be found in figure 1-1 also located on page two.

Model 8235-366 and its P-Series ITB II model are mounted on the valve flange. When being mounted please make sure that attaching hardware as well as the bracket is capable of handling the weight of the throttle assembly as well as withstand the vibration associated with engine mounting.

The best manuals to use when operating the 8235-366 model are the 26265 PISC and P-Series 85/95/105/120/135 mm ITB and the P-Series Position Controller manual 26578, unfortunately, the 26578 manual is difficult to find so the 26265 manual is the only manual that can be used when operating this model.

If your model obtains any damage while either unpacking or during installation please ensure that it will not affect the performance of the device, if this is the case please contact our sales team through email at sales@axcontrol.com to receive a repair quote.
