About the 8235-369
ProAct and ProAct Plus Actuator and Driver model 8235-369 was produced by Woodward Inc. This model is a P-Series II controller and does not have Integrated Speed Control or an Integrated Throttle Body. While this P-Series II model may not have an Integrated Throttle Body or Integrated Speed Control it was still designed to be a direct replacement for traditional throttle valves, as such, this model does not require a direct connection between the actuator and valve.
Please note that during the operation of the 8235-369 model noise levels should be taken into account and some type of ear protection should be worn when working on or around the ProAct model. Another important consideration to take into account is that to prevent any damage to a control system that is using a battery-charging device or alternator the charging device should be turned off before the battery is disconnected.
During operation, if there is an error regarding the stability of the 8235-366 model there are two issues that might need to be addressed, the engine could possibly oscillate when cold and stabilize when warm which indicates that the dynamics gain potentiometer might need to be adjusted slightly counterclockwise. If stability needs to be maintained adjust the stability potentiometer slightly clockwise.
