About the 9905-755

Product 9905-755 is part of the ProTech 203 Overspeed Protection System series. Devices in this series have a modular design that uses three identical speed-sensing units with a two-out-of-three voting configuration. This model has a 120 Vac/dc voltage input and is one of the energize-to-trip versions in this Woodward series.

To prevent system damage and malfunction/failure, care should be taken to ensure the 9905-755 overspeed protection device is installed in an appropriate location. Model 9905-755 has a speed-sensing frequency range of 100 Hz to 32 kHz and a trip-point frequency range of 250 Hz to 25 kHz. System features include an MPU fail option, an MPU fail timer, MPU failure indicators, and CPU failure indicators. Some errors are indicated with LEDs, some are indicated with alarm output, and some have the option of triggering both an LED and an alarm output.
