Woodward Model 8272-273 is an obsolete SPM Synchronizer. In order to power this unit, connections will likely have to be made at terminals two and five for one hundred fifteen volts of alternating current with additional jumpers on terminals two and four to reach two hundred thirty volts of alternating current. This unit uses 3074-305 B PCB that is encased in a mountable sheet metal chassis. The unit will weigh approximately five pounds during shipment.

The dimensions of this unit are as follows, a width of twelve and a quarter inches, a depth of eight and a half inches, and a height of one and seven-eighth inches. On the face of the 8272-273, there is only one light-emitting diode (LED) which is labeled as an enable LED. 

One key feature of the 8272-273 Synchronizer is the ability to be used as a single unit synchronizer which can allow the attached synchronizer on the chosen generator to have individual paralleling to the bus. 

When installing this unit please be sure that there is no way that any objects can be dropped in the terminals or the synchronizer itself, any damage to the unit can cause operating issues.
