About the EA7-T10C
The Automation Direct EA7-T10C is a member of the C-more touch panel series. This 10.4in display offers a bright 640x480 pixel TFT LCD full-color display capable of supporting 65,536 colors. Housing a 32-bit RISC CPU, the HMI provides the user 32MB SDRAM system memory and 32MB FLASH memory. By integrating a CPU into the panel, single switch upload/download is available for quick memory and data transfers between devices. 24 VDC is the necessary power supply needed for EA7-T10C to operate. An AC/DC power adapter should be used to draw the supply from a 100-240VAC 50/60Hz source.
EA7-T10C offers a variety of I/O capabilities for simple user interfacing. Two USB drives are on the drive, with USB A offering device input and USB B allowing programming and data transfers. Inter-connectivity between devices is further fostered with a standard 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connection. A single audio line out allows annunciated status and error messages to be projected via a separate amplifier and speaker. File storage space can be expanded through an optional CompactFlash port. The display panel measures 10.669in (W) x 13.661in (H) x 2.079in (D) and weighs 3.55 pounds.
Simple user interface features allow for easy access to I/O and data. Computer mirroring allows for remote users to view both visible and background screens. The display panel on EA7-T10C allows for the user to visually monitor and configure PLC programmers and other connected devices. Supported languages and fonts include Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese, Thai, English, and Spanish.
Device longevity is dependent on following proper storage guidelines and operational parameters. Ambient temperatures of the facility housing EA7-T10C can range from 0℃ to 50℃, or 32℉ to 122℉. If the display is placed in storage, temperatures of the storage facility should fall no lower than -20℃, or -4℉, and rise no higher than 60℃, or 140℉. Automation Direct originally provided technical support on this HMI touch panel. However, it is now considered retired by the OEM.
